Our Language Exchange Meetings are for all levels and for anyone who is interested in Japanese language and culture.
Have fun meeting new people while practising with Japanese native speakers and in return help your new Japanese friends practice their English skills.
We use small groups which gives everyone an opportunity to practice and feel comfortable talking in English and Japanese for 15-minute intervals. After an hour of chatting we conclude with some fun games related to English and Japanese language.
During the summer season, we take full advantage of Melbourne’s unique, sometimes unpredictable weather and combine the great outdoors with a language exchange picnic!
Discovering the inner city parks of Melbourne we take Japanese language exchanges to a new level while enjoying typical Japanese picnic foods. Some favourites are Japanese curry, cooking your own takoyaki balls and like all outside picnics, there’s always time for frisbee or a game of badminton.
Our Language exchange meeting will be held on the first Saturday of every month from 5:30pm till 7:30pm, and include light snacks & drink.
$5.00 Entry.
